A surprise proposal photoshoot is a special type of session where a professional photographer discreetly or openly captures the moment you pop the question. There are typically two ways this can be arranged:

• Planned Couple Session – The shoot begins like a regular couple photoshoot, with outfit changes, different poses, and varied locations. At the agreed moment, the proposal happens, and I’m ready to capture it seamlessly as part of the session.
   
• Hidden Photographer – In this scenario, I stay out of sight while you enjoy a romantic date. When the proposal happens, I capture the moment from a distance. Afterward, we usually transition into a standard engagement-style shoot.
   

If we start with a couple session, we’ll go through various poses, backgrounds, and possibly outfit changes. When the big moment arrives, I’ll be ready to photograph every second of the proposal—your partner’s reaction, the emotions, and of course, the ring.

If the shoot is done from a distance, I’ll use a zoom lens to stay discreet while getting clear, beautiful shots. After the surprise, we’ll continue the session with portraits of the newly engaged couple, highlighting joy, excitement, and connection.

Throughout the shoot, I’ll guide the proposer with subtle cues to ensure perfect timing and lighting. My goal is to document not just the proposal itself but the story around it—making sure the entire experience is remembered forever.

• Planned Couple Session – The shoot is set up as a normal couple photoshoot, and at a pre-arranged moment, the proposal happens while the photographer is ready to capture every second.
   
• Candid Coverage from a Distance – The photographer stays hidden during your date, discreetly capturing the surprise proposal in real-time. After the big moment, we continue with a short engagement session.
   

Before the session, we’ll go over all the details—from the style and mood to specific poses or key shots you want to include. You can opt for natural, emotional moments, posed shots with your partner, or creative images that reflect your unique personalities.

If you’re unsure about a location, I can provide a list of beautiful and meaningful places to choose from. Popular spots work best early in the morning for fewer crowds and the best lighting. If your dream location is outside the city, we can absolutely plan for that too.

In case of bad or unpredictable weather, we can easily move the shoot indoors—whether to a studio, a cozy café, a rented venue, or even your home. Flexibility is key to making sure your special moment is captured just the way you envisioned it.

This package includes everything you need to make your proposal unforgettable. I’ll help you choose outfits, poses, and the perfect locations to match your vision. During the session, we can switch between 1–2 spots to add variety to your images. All photos will be uploaded to your personal digital gallery for easy viewing, downloading, and sharing.

You’ll receive a preview of 5 edited photos within 4 hours after the shoot, so you can relive the moment right away or share it with loved ones. The full gallery—at least 70 beautifully edited images in color or black & white—will be delivered within 7–10 business days.

Need more time? You can extend the session by an additional hour for $400.

Travel within 20 miles is free. For locations beyond that, a travel fee may apply.
